People used to congregate regularly in shuls. They became the big
suburban synagogues. Their parking lots are largely empty. Now the
coffee shops are booming. The yoga studios, too. Something new is
emerging, the old models won’t work.
With a group of local visionaries, we see Lee Road at Meadowbrook in
Cleveland Heights as the hub of a vibrant, international eco-village
for idealistic, 20- or 30-something Jews. Spirituality, creativity
and activism merge in our vision of a walkable community called
Tiferet Village.
